The following Activities will be closing and reopening at the following times
Arts and Crafts – closing at 1145 and reopening on 10 Aug 09
Auto Skills – closed 1300-1600 and reopening 1600-2100
Gaffney – closing noon-1600 and reopening at 1630
Murphy will be closing at noon and reopening on 10 Aug 09
Pet Care Center – closing noon-1600 and reopening at 1600-1730
Post Library – closing at noon and reopening 1600-1800
ALL OTHER ACTIVITIES (BOWLING CENTER, GOLF COURSE, ACS AND CLUB MEADE) WILL REMAIN OPEN DURING NORMAL HOURS!!
** The National Flag will be flown at half-staff on Fort George G. Meade on Tuesday, Aug. 4, in remembrance of Sgt. Maj. Harry Parrish of First Army Division East. Sgt. Maj. Parrish, a 33-year veteran of both the U.S. Army and the U.S. Marine Corps, served as the Division G-3 Sergeant Major. He died this weekend in a civilian skydiving accident in Virginia. A memorial service for Sgt. Maj. Parrish is planned for Tuesday afternoon at 4:00 in the Post Chapel.
